In 2018 I was hired on to the TEDxUW design team. Founded in 2011, TEDxUW is the University of Waterloo's contribution to the larger network of independently organised TED events being hosted worldwide.
As a part of my role on the design team, my peers and I participated in brand discussions for the 2018 theme Making Waves. Myself and other members of the design team developed marketing materials for the recruitment of donors and speakers and for outreach to students at the University of Waterloo. We also developed marketing collateral for the day of the event, including slide decks, t-shirts, event swag, and signage.
