In the summer of 2019, a Women Centre executive and I collaborated with the Waterloo Indigenous Student Centre (WISC), the Indigenous Student Association (ISA), and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) to showcase award-winning films and literature created by Indigenous artists across Canada. The event was held in the University of Waterloo library and was introduced by the director of Shatitsirótha’ (WISC) Lori Campbell and by Associate Prof. Lianne Ledy.
