IMMERSe Website Design
The Interactive and Multi-Modal Experience Research Syndicate (IMMERSe) was a network formed after the receipt of the 2012 SSHRC Partnership Grant by UW Professors Neil Randall and Karen Collins. Receiving the grant was a watershed moment for Games Research. IMMERSe was a student research funding system, with the money going towards students across institutions, disciplines, and years of study that were interested in the world of games.
In Spring 2019, I was hired as a research communications officer for the IMMERSe Network. As a part of this role I designed and developed the IMMERSe website, liaised with researchers and industry partners, and effectively disseminated the research that took place over its nine year run. I received ongoing feedback from Dr. Neil Randall, the Co-founder of the IMMERSe network and my supervisor on the project, throughout the process.
In 2021 I was hired on to design the Games Institute's 2020 Annual Report. The process  involved design drafts and meeting with the Games Institute's Associate Director and Research Communication Officer. The final designs for the 40-page document are currently in the review process.
